Meet Jason Ashley

Learn more about our super friendly, Trainee Sales Negotiator, Jason! Below he gives an insight into his daily role, challenging moments to date and what he enjoys to do in his spare time.

How long have you worked at Coleman Estates, and what do you like most about it?

I’ve worked here just over 10 months. I most enjoy being able to meet a wide range of buyers, homeowners, and investors. The property industry is huge and diverse, I always enjoy being able to learn new things from conversations with our customers.

What does your role involve?

At the moment, my role primarily involves carrying out accompanied viewings on all of our sales properties, negotiating offers, and aiding our vendors through their conveyancing process. I work with investment buyers often, and I’ve got experience with the buy-to-let industry through my family.

Did you know about Coleman Estates before you joined the team?

I’ve lived in Wellington for most of my life, so I’d walked past the office many times and seen a lot of purple signs across Telford over the last few years.

What made you want to join Coleman Estates?

I really liked the fact that Coleman Estates is a family run business, I left a big company to join the sales team here and it’s been great to see one office make such an impact in Telford.

What has been your biggest achievement so far?

Being able to go from a brand new sales admin to a sales negotiator-in-training in the space of a year has been quite the learning curve! I’m grateful to Max and Kate for giving me the opportunity to take on more responsibility.

What’s your top tip for selling a home?

Selling a home is a busy process with a lot of moving parts, homeowners can save themselves a good deal of stress by getting prepared for each stage of the process in advance – we can help with this.

What’s your top tip for buyers?

Keep an open mind, and a wide net. Sometimes your dream home can be found where you might not expect.

How can your team help clients to sell their home?

By utilising years of experience in the local area, with a positive approach, and diligent colleagues.

What do you like to do on your time off?

At the moment I’m in the middle of renovating a new home, which is taking up most of my spare time! Typically I visit the cinema a few times a month and try to spend some time in the summer on the River Severn in my kayak.
