Max is our managing director and has 20 years’ experience within the property industry. After leaving university, Max ventured to London to gain work experience with Foxton’s in Fulham – the largest and most successful estate agent in the capital. After picking up valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, Max returned to the family business with a vision of making Coleman Estates the best rated and highest performing family run estate agents in the local area. After 15 years’ of hard work and an unrivalled attention to customer service and results, combined with his wife Kate’s decision to join the family business (taking her department to the number one letting agent in Telford in just 4 years), Coleman Estates continues to go from strength to strength under the husband and wife team. When he’s not working, Max can usually be found at the gym, playing the guitar or spending time with his family.
Kate joined the family business after meeting Max and immediately loved the customer relationships and fast pace of the lettings department. In 2011, Kate successfully completed her NFOPP Residential Qualification in Lettings and Property Management and was made a company director just 3 years later. Under Kate and her team, the lettings department has been celebrated within the top 1% of agents in the country, won prestigious regional Gold Property awards and have let more properties than any other agent in Telford according to Rightmove statistics for the past consecutive 7 years, with Kate being a firm believer that excellent results come from excellent customer service, not at its expense. Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Robbie, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
Dawn joined the sales family in 2020, with 25 years of industry experience under her belt and a wealth of local knowledge. She prides herself on excellent customer service, providing friendly, honest and accurate advice. Dawn really does go above and beyond to ensure the sales and purchase process runs smoothly; she brings great passion to our sales team.
With a love of travel, Dawn, her husband and two kids continue to tick off their list of destinations they would like to visit. Some wonderful family holidays have been spent in Australia, America, Cyprus, Rome and Prague, to name a few! When she isn’t jet-setting she is cheering on her daughter at golf competitions around the county.
Having joined our sales team in 2019, and with a genuine enthusiasm for property, Danielle has built a strong foundation through her qualification in Business Administration and completion of the Level 2 Junior Estate Agent course. In her role as Sales Marketing Coordinator, she thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoying the variety and energy that each day brings.
Outside of work, Danielle loves making the most of time with her husband and child, often exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside with their rescue Saluki, Floki. She also enjoys discovering new experiences and destinations whenever the opportunity arises.
Claudette joined the team as a Sales Administrator for a fixed-term maternity cover in 2024 and quickly impressed both colleagues and clients alike with her strong administrative skills and approachable, down-to-earth manner. Her excellent contribution led to her being offered a permanent part-time role, where she continues to provide vital support to the sales team. When she is not working, Claudette enjoys spending time in nature, travelling, listening to music and reading.
Phil is one of the longest-standing members of our team, having started as a part-time Accompanied Viewer in 2014. Phil progressed to a full-time position in 2019 to include Property Inspector to his role, while still meeting and greeting our customers at property viewings. Phil thoroughly enjoys his busy role, getting immense job satisfaction from helping people – whether that’s during an inspection visit or finding a property. As well as helping customers, Phil is a strong team player and enjoys helping his colleagues in whatever way he can. Outside of work, he is an avid poker player and enjoys running, particularly an early morning sprint up and down the Wrekin!
Joanne is a seasoned professional in property management and lettings, boasting over a decade of industry experience since joining Coleman Estates in 2015. With a Level 3 NFOPP Qualification in Residential Lettings & Property Management and a Level 3 certification in Customer Service, her commitment to excellence shines through.
Passionate about building connections, Joanne excels in engaging with landlords and tenants alike, matching individuals with their ideal living spaces. Her expertise extends to property valuation, providing clients with accurate assessments for informed decision-making.
Beyond work, Joanne enjoys travel, culinary experimentation and thought-provoking documentaries, constantly seeking new experiences and perspectives.
Chloe joined us in 2021 as a Saturday Office Assistant with prior lettings experience and quickly impressed us with her proficiency and knowledge of the lettings industry. We were delighted when Chloe expanded her hours to join the lettings team the following year where she worked in the property management department, assisting with inspections, inventories and maintenance. Chloe has since been promoted to Property Manager, specialising in HMO Property Management and Legal Compliance. With her outgoing and friendly nature, Chloe is always happy to assist with any queries or concerns you may have and will do all she can to help.
Chloe likes keeping fit in the gym and spending quality time with her friends and son. She then brings this family-focused attitude back to the workplace and has become a core member of our own family who we can all depend on.
Ashleigh joined the lettings department in 2024, bringing a decade’s worth of experience in property and customer service after beginning her career in 2014 as an Apprentice Sales Negotiator. A true professional, Ashleigh has worked in both residential property sales and lettings over the years but has found her real passion in lettings, which is evident in all communications with customers, contractors and co-workers alike. With her friendly, positive nature combined with a great sense of teamwork, lettings knowledge and efficiency, no problem is too great and we are delighted to have Ashleigh on board.
When she is not processing tenancies or working towards her Level 3 qualification in Residential Lettings & Property Management, Ashleigh enjoys family life with her husband, 3 children and dog, Teddy, especially cooking up fabulous new meals for them to try!
Ellie brings valuable industry experience to the team and is known for her collaborative approach and strong client relationships. A dedicated team player, she is always willing to support colleagues and ensure clients receive a high standard of service.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys cooking, attending Pilate classes, and spending quality time with her family. She shares her home with five cats, who add plenty of personality and joy to her daily life. She values a balanced lifestyle, combining creativity in the kitchen, movement through Pilates, and meaningful time with loved ones.
Chloe has recently joined our lettings team as a Lettings Administrator and has quickly fit in well with the fast paced environment. With her warm, personable approach and willingness to go above and beyond, Chloe is dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
Chloe has lived in Telford all her life and has a genuine love for the town and its community. In her free time, she enjoys going on adventures with her rescue dog, Laddie, who keeps her busy and active. Chloe is currently working in the property industry, a new and exciting field for her, and she’s really enjoying its fast-paced and fascinating nature. She looks forward to helping families find the perfect place to call home.
